INSTRUCTIONS FOR PICK-UP (RECEIVE) AND DROP-OFF (RETURN)
WORKING HOURS: EVERYDAY 09:00 - 20:00.Kindly note that our vehicles can only be picked up from our agency. The transfer from and to our agency is free of charge. Inform us for a free transfer by choosing the correct pick-up location at the reservation form.
PICK-UP (RECEIVE):
1) Airport/Seaport: You will find our representative outside of the arrivals gate/ferry with a sign “Scooter Vacations Mykonos” and will pick you up with the transfer.
2) Hotel/Villa: Our representative will be at the hotel/villa at the time that you requested and will pick you up with the transfer.
3) Cruise ship: There are two possibilities for the pick-up.
1) The cruise ship is docking at the new port of tourlos and we can meet exactly outside of the ship at this location https://goo.gl/maps/pdngfVLUBCKNzMVHA
2) The cruise ship is tender outside of the harbor and the small boats will transfer you in one of these two locations,
A) at the old port of Mykonos at the old town and we have to meet at this location because we can’t enter the town with a car. https://goo.gl/maps/nuWX4QokHVVJHAYCA

Please inform us accordingly at least the day before.
DROP-OFF (RETURN):
The vehicle must be returned to our Agency and then we can transfer you back at the location that you desire without any extra cost.
*Please remember that the transfer is shared and the waiting time to our office after your arrival is 10-15 mins.

4)Pick-up out of working hours € 50 - € 70.
5)Drop-off out of working hours € 50 - € 70.
6)Roadside Assistance out of working hours € 50.
7)Luggage storage € 2 - € 4 per piece.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
AGE REQUIREMENT:
The driver must be at least 23 years old in order to rent a scooter and at least 26 years old in order to rent an ATV.
In the other case, you need to buy the extra item “Driver under 23 (scooter) or 26 (ATV) years old.”
ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
1) Driver’s License (DL): The driver must be a holder of a driver’s license for the respective vehicle category.
The driver’s license must be issued at least one year prior to the rental date.
In the other case, you need to buy the extra item “Driver’s license issued less than one (1) year.”
Passport.
Identity Card (ID).
All the documents must be the ORIGINAL and NOT a photocopy or digital copy otherwise you can’t rent the vehicles.
INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE (IDL):
Please note that if you do not have a Driving License issued from an EU country, UK, USA, CANADA, or AUSTRALIA,
you will need to bring an International Driving License (IDL) along with your national license to rent the vehicle.
If your driving license is written in a non-Roman Alphabet, it must be complemented by an international driving permit.
INSURANCE:
All our vehicles are covered by:
1)Liability insurance against physical damages to third parties (excluding the driver) for injuries or death up to 1.220.000,00 €
2)Liability insurance against material damages to third parties (excluding our vehicles) up to 1.220.000,00 € provided that the accident was not caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Possible damages to the rented vehicle remain the full responsibility of the renter.
Damage to the rims and tires, underneath the vehicle, fire, and acts of vandalism such as stolen pieces (mirrors) or accessories (helmets) on any vehicle are not covered by any insurance.
POSSIBLE DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE:
In case of any damage on any vehicle such as scratches, the minimum cost is € 30 per piece damaged.
If the piece is broken or lost and has to be replaced, the cost is calculated from the official website of the rented vehicle.
The renter is obliged for the payment for the days that the vehicle remains unreserved.
LOSS OF VEHICLE ACCESSORIES:
The renter is obliged to pay for all the losses of vehicle accessories during the rental period.
-Helmets: € 50 per piece
-Normal Keys: € 15 - € 40, depends on the model.
-Smart Keys: € 200 - € 300, depends on the model.
Loss of vehicle accessories is not covered by any insurance.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE:
In case of any problem with our vehicles during your stay in Mykonos, you can call us immediately at the emergency phone number that we provide upon your arrival.
1) Free Roadside Assistance during working hours (09:00 - 20:00).
2) 24 hours roadside assistance (an extra charge of €2 per day).
If the renter chooses not to include 24 hours roadside assistance, then there is a € 50 charge in case of roadside assistance for outside of working hours.
PAYMENT POLICY:
Please remember that after the confirmation process you can NOT change the payment method upon arrival.
There are two (2) payment methods:
1) Cash payment upon arrival:
With this option you are able to reserve your desired vehicle today and to pay upon arrival with cash. The credit/debit card details are used only for a pre-authorisation 14 days before arrival in order to guarantee the reservation. If the credit card details are not correct the reservation is canceled immediately. Driver's name must match the name on the credit/debit card.
2) Pay by Credit Card:
With this option you are able to pay the total amount today in order to reserve the vehicle. Driver's name must match the name on this credit card otherwise the reservation is canceled.
A major credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard) in the name of the main driver is required in order to collect the vehicle.
Cards without the driver’s name on, will not be accepted.
The credit/debit card holder will be required to present the same credit/debit card upon arrival along with his/her Driving License and Passport which must match the name on this credit/debit card.
PREPAYMENT POLICY:
I authorize Scooter Vacations Mykonos to charge my credit card that is mentioned above, with the amount that is mentioned at the voucher, for my reservation.
Personal Details are strictly confidential and may be used by Scooter Vacations Mykonos only to guarantee the reservation or other services offered by the agency.
Details may be asked from the bank, in order to verify the cardholder's identity.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You can cancel only by contacting our office.
In case of cancellation up to 14 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
In case of cancellation later than 14 days the full charge of the whole rental will be applied to your credit card.
In case of no-show, the entire rent will be charged to the credit card.
In case of early departure the entire rent will be charged.
SECURITY DEPOSIT ON PICK-UP:
A credit/debit card preauthorization is needed (scooters 110cc -125cc € 300,00)(atv's 450cc - 600cc € 600,00).
The deposit is not charged to your credit/debit card, just blocked. When you return the vehicle after the rental, the deposit amount will be unblocked.
The Driving License (DL), Passport and Identity Card (ID) must match the name on the credit/debit card provided.
Cards without the driver’s name on, will not be accepted.
SECURITY DEPOSIT RELEASE:
Please be aware that those funds will be unavailable to you until after you return the vehicle and it can take 3-5 working days for credit cards and up to 25 working days for debit cards (depending on your bank).
RENTAL PERIOD:
The minimum duration of the renting contract is one day (24 hours).
Every additional hour is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate.
FUEL POLICY:
The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel/gasoline as has been given to.
The customer is responsible for the payment of all fuel/gasoline consumed during the rental period.
In case that is less fuel/gasoline at the tank, the renter is obliged to pay the difference in CASH.
Refueling Service: € 10 (Please note that this fee does not include the amount of the fuel/gasoline).
TRAFFIC FINES:
The renter is obliged to cover the cost of any traffic violation fine that may occur during the rental period such as a parking ticket, speeding fine, etc.
Fine Administration Fee: € 10 (Please note that this fee does not include the amount of the fine)
IMPORTANT: In the unlikely event of a fine, should the renter fail to inform us and leave, the fine will be dispatched to our lawyer through the embassy and the expenses and administration fees are between € 300 - € 600 (the amount of the fine is not included).
The total cost is obligatory to be paid by the renter.
The renter is required to pay for the days that the vehicle remains unreserved.
TAKING THE VEHICLE OUTSIDE OF MYKONOS ISLAND:
Please note that you are NOT allowed to take the vehicle outside of Mykonos Island.
The insurance is NOT valid outside of Mykonos island and you are riding the vehicle uninsured.
PERSONAL DATA & GDPR:
After I was fully informed about the way in which the Company manages my personal data, I provide my unconditional consent to the Company for the processing of my personal data, with or without profiling.
*By receiving the above, I hereby accept the General Terms & Conditions and Payment & Cancellation Policies of Scooter Vacations Mykonos for this reservation.
*Failure to comply with the above-mentioned requirements, with the Greek law requirements, and with our terms of service will result in a non-refundable cancellation.
*The Greek courts of Cyclades islands prefecture have the authority to settle any dispute that may appear between the two parties.
