VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE

In Greece you need category for motorcycle (A or A1) for driving 110cc-125cc scooter.
You are not allowed to drive with car driving license (category B) or bike driving license (category AM).
Driving license must comply with the road traffic code in Greece.
All non-EU drivers should have an international driving permit except the citizens of UK, USA, Canada, Australia. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

AGE REQUIREMENT

The driver must be at least 23 years old in order to rent a scooter and at least 26 years old in order to rent an ATV/Quad.
(For more information about the minimum age, please refer to the selected vehicle.)
In the other case you need to buy the extra item “Driver under 23 (scooter) or 26 (ATV) years old.”

ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

1. Driver’s License (DL): The driver must be a holder of a driver’s license for the respective vehicle category. (For more information about the Driving License Category, please refer to the selected vehicle). The driver’s license must be issued at least one year prior to the rental date. In the other case you need to buy the extra item “Driver’s license issued less than one (1) year.”
2. Passport (only for non-EU countries).
3. Identity Card (ID).
4. TAX Number.
   All the documents must be the ORIGINAL and NOT a photocopy or digital copy, otherwise you can’t rent the vehicles.

INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE (IDL)

Please note that if you do not have a Driving License issued from an EU country, UK, USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA or the countries at This List, you will need to bring an International Driving License (IDL) along with your national license to rent the vehicle.
If your driving license is written in non-Roman Alphabet, it must be complemented by an international driving permit.

INSURANCE

All our vehicles are covered by:

Liability insurance against physical damages to third parties (excluding the driver) for injuries or death up to €1.220.000
Liability insurance against material damages to third parties (excluding our vehicles) up to €1.220.000, provided that the accident was not caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Possible damages to the rented vehicle remain full responsibility of the renter.
Damage to the rims and tires, underneath the vehicle, fire and acts of vandalism such as stolen pieces (mirrors) or accessories (helmets) on any vehicle are not covered by any insurance.

DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE

In case of any damage on any vehicle such as scratches, the minimum cost is €40 per piece damaged.
If the piece is broken or lost and has to be replaced, the cost is calculated from the official website of the rented vehicle.
The renter is obliged for the payment for the days that the vehicle remains unreserved.

LOSS OF VEHICLE ACCESSORIES

The renter is obliged to pay for all the losses of vehicle accessories during the rental period.

• Helmets: €50 per piece
• Mirrors: €40 per piece
• Normal Keys: €15 - €40, depending on the model
• Smart Keys: €200 - €300, depending on the model
  Loss of vehicle accessories are not covered by any insurance.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

In case of any problem with our vehicles during your stay in Mykonos, you can call us immediately at the emergency phone number provided upon arrival.

1. Free Roadside Assistance during operating hours (09:00 - 20:00).

2. 24-hour roadside assistance (an extra charge of €2 per day).
   If the renter chooses not to include 24-hour roadside assistance, then there is a €50 charge for roadside assistance outside of working hours.

PAYMENT POLICY

Please remember that after the confirmation process, you can NOT change the payment method upon arrival.

There are two (2) payment methods:

1. Cash payment upon arrival:
   You are able to reserve your desired vehicle today and pay upon arrival in cash.
   Credit/debit card details are used only for a pre-authorization 14 days before arrival to guarantee the reservation.
   If the credit card details are incorrect, the reservation is canceled immediately.
   Driver's name must match the name on the credit/debit card.

2. Pay by Credit Card:
   You are able to pay the total amount today to reserve the vehicle.
   Driver's name must match the name on the credit card, otherwise the reservation is canceled.
   A major credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard) in the name of the main driver is required to collect the vehicle.
   Cards without the driver’s name will not be accepted.
   The cardholder must present the same card along with their Driving License and Passport, which must match the name on the card.

PREPAYMENT POLICY

If you choose to pay with a credit/debit card today, we will charge your card with the total amount shown on the voucher.
I authorize Scooter Vacations Mykonos to charge my credit card with the amount mentioned on the voucher for my reservation.
Personal details are strictly confidential and used only to guarantee the reservation or other services.
Details may be requested from the bank to verify the cardholder's identity.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel only by contacting our office.

• Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival: No fee
• Cancellation later than 14 days: Full charge applies
• No-show: Full charge
• Early departure: Full charge

SECURITY DEPOSIT ON PICK-UP

A credit/debit card preauthorization is required:

• Scooters 110cc -125cc: €300
• ATVs 450cc - 600cc: €600

The deposit is blocked, not charged.

Once the vehicle is returned, the deposit is unblocked. The Driving License, Passport, and ID must match the name on the card provided. Cards without the driver’s name will not be accepted.

SECURITY DEPOSIT RELEASE

Please note that the funds will be unavailable until after the vehicle is returned.
It may take 3-5 working days for credit cards and up to 25 working days for debit cards (depending on your bank).

RENTAL PERIOD

Minimum rental:

• April, May, June, September, October: 1 day (24 hours)
• July, August: 3 days

Every additional hour is charged at 1/5 of the daily rate

FUEL POLICY

The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as given.
The renter is responsible for all fuel consumed during the rental.
If there is less fuel upon return, the renter must pay the difference in cash.
Refueling Service: €10 (fuel not included)

TRAFFIC FINES

The renter is responsible for any traffic fines during the rental (e.g. parking, speeding).
Fine Administration Fee: €10 (fine amount not included)
IMPORTANT: If a fine is not reported and the renter leaves, legal action will follow via the embassy.
Admin/legal costs range between €300 - €600 (not including the fine).
The renter is responsible for days the vehicle remains unreserved.

TAKING THE VEHICLE OUTSIDE OF MYKONOS ISLAND

You are NOT allowed to take the vehicle off the island.
Insurance is NOT valid outside Mykonos, and the vehicle is considered uninsured.

PERSONAL DATA & GDPR

After being fully informed about how the Company handles my data, I give my unconditional consent for the processing of my personal data, with or without profiling.

By receiving the above, I hereby accept the General Terms & Conditions and Payment & Cancellation Policies of Scooter Vacations Mykonos for this reservation.
Failure to comply with the above, with Greek law or with our terms will result in a non-refundable cancellation.
Any legal disputes are under the jurisdiction of the Greek courts of Cyclades Islands Prefecture.
